Once you completed your terminal configuration, you receive a shell command that you need to paste into your terminal. This command will download your configuration and apply it to your local machine.
If you don't like the configuration you created, you simply need to run the command revert_terminal, and your terminal will revert to its previous state.
You have nothing to worry about, but if you want to reassure yourself, you have the option of downloading the config files without applying them automatically. This gives you a chance to see what's in those scripts.
No, the configuration is applied to your terminal only. It doesn't affect any other part of your system. If you do notice any issues, you can easily revert to your previous configuration or manually adapt the changes to your needs.
